After nearly 3 years in Australia, we have decided to take a family picture. Lerderderg Gorge is just a few kilometres upriver from Bacchus Marsh. The river stopped flowing year round in 1997 when Shelley and I first lived here. The rains soon followed our return in 2009. Now the swimming holes are full and the vegetation is looking healthy. Victoria has a history of 10 year cycles of drought and rains.
